Our Story

How We Met

Ryan and Wendy in Nashua, NH

Wendy moved from Kissimmee, FL to Nashua, NH and began attending Nashua High School where she was transferred into Ryan’s art class. They sat next to each other and became friends instantly. Wendy graduated in 2004 and attended the New Hampshire Institute of Art while Ryan finished up his senior year and then attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2005. By 2006, they began dating and the rest was history!

The Long Awaited Proposal

Ryan and Wendy at the summit of Mt. Washington

Ryan and Wendy dated for 6 years, living together in Haverhill, Boston, and Manchester. Ryan proposed to Wendy on July 27, 2013 while they were vacationing in the White Mountains in Bethlehem, NH. Their friends and families breathed a sigh of relief and, "It's about time". After a long engagement they finally found their perfect venue in Alton, NH and want to share their perfect day with you.

Wedding Party

The Bride

Autumn
Autumn Szaro
Autumn is my first friend for life, my little sister, and the coolest chick this side of the Mississippi (don’t tell Cheyenne). We’ve been through a lot together. I stood by her on her wedding day, now she’s doing the same for me. Time for some payback. She’s smart, resourceful, and hilarious, not to mention the voice of reason when you need it most.

“This above all; to thine own self be true.”
Cheyenne
Cheyenne Puksta
Chey is my second friend for life, my littlest sister, and the coolest chick this side of the Mississippi (don’t tell Autumn). She’s 10 years younger than me, but still inspires me every day, not to mention she’s one tough cookie. I can’t imagine doing this without her by my side.

“Though she be but little, she is fierce.”
Amy
Amy Bettencourt
Amy and I have known each other for a little more than 10 years. We graduated from high school together, went to college together, and spent numerous hours singing loudly (albeit slightly off-key) in her car on our way to class. She’s seen me at my best and my worst and has stood by me through all of the celebrations and all of the tears. I love her and I’m so glad she's agreed to put up with me while I plan a wedding.

“Boldness be my friend.”

The Groom

Bryce
Bryce Foote
Bryce is only 17 months my senior, but I’ve loved him and looked up to him since we were kids. It means so much that he will be my best man and part of the most important day of my life.
Mike
Mike DeMambro
Mike is Wendy’s big brother, but he’s been a friend to me since we met almost a decade ago. It means a lot to me to have him here and to be such an integral part of our big day.
